Clinical and Academic Qualifications
My career in medicine commenced in 1992.
After qualified as a doctor (MBBS) in 1998, I gained MD in 2001. I completed my specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2008 gaining several advanced qualifications in laparoscopic surgery, colposcopy, vulval disease and hysteroscopy. I continued my training further and completed higher sub-specialty training in Gynaecological Cancer in 2013.
During my clinical training I also continued to pursue my research and academic interests. In 2012, I was awarded Masters degree in Clinical Research with distinction. In same year I also won the Edgar Gentilli Prize awarded by Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) for best research in gynaecological cancer. My research interest has led to a wider collaboration with my colleagues and several research paper publications.
